What does a charity Chief Executive do?

I'm often asked what a charity Chief Executive does, well if this morning is anything to go by, just about anything!
I started off writing a presentation about the most common adult blood cancer CLL and how we will have cures within 20 years; I then wrote the introduction for our Christmas catalogue that is going to print next week; spent some time with our Head of Insight talking about how we can meet the needs of patients better and then had my photo with the Blenheim Duck who has been regularly tweeting about his travels- we had to choose the winning photo together https://twitter.com/beatbloodcancer..there you go life in the day of a charity CEO!
