Canna

Grown from seeds collected in Tasmania almost two years ago! I wasn't sure it was going tp work - the seeds had to be scarified and mistreated in various ways but in the end almost all of them grew.

This flower has the gorgeous deep red colour of the original plant- but many of the other seedlings are various shades of orange and red-it's always potluck with seeds that you collect :-)
