'Three Little Maids'

The Rose 'Maigold' is having its second go at flowering...probably because I cut it back after its main performance in May.

After my 2 hour Yoga session, I met with friends for a catch up chat.

This evening I went to the theatre to see 'West End to Broadway'...which was superb! Put on by The Rattonians..our local production group. The Rattonians have built up a great reputation for performing spectacular musicals including The Producers, 42nd Street, Crazy fo You, West Side Story, Copacabana, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Matilda, Sister Act and many many more. You name it...they have done it. This is their 25th summer season and they are celebrating their 30th Anniversary.

The show tonight included lots of favourites from the Best British Musicals and a tribute to the First World War, (Oh What a Lovely War)..then they headed to USA with the glitz and glamour of Broadway.

I drove along the seafront of Eastbourne on the way home, and it was so eerie not to see the Pier all lit up. The spirit has gone out of it at the moment. Quite a few police guarding the entrance at 10.30pm.
