Eat Your Fruit

I like to keep a slice of orange out for the birds - usually the takers are the orioles and the red bellied woodpeckers. Today a little downy woodpecker decided to give it a try. It wasn't quite sure how to go about it at first - it gave the peel a good woodpecker-style peck before deciding that the pulp was the good bit.
