Summer blue

One of those days where rain showers coincided with thoughts I had of getting out into the garden. So I got through some internal tidying up instead.

Eventually I got out in the evening and I could hear the weeds stretching and growing. Before I left for Oman I threw some annual seeds about the place. It has been partially successful. Clearly some decided to give it up for the weeds. Others, like this cornflower have put on a little bit of a show. It was good to see some blue at the end of a wet, grey day.
