The week is rushing by and 17 to complete before the weekend.

This is a replacement puMp in an existing well that has been broken for many years.

The old pump was a rope and washer type and when it broke down there was no one with the training and skills to maintain it. Most other pumps can not be maintained by people in a village. They might call it VLOM, but there are very few pumps besides ours that Village Level Operation and Maintenance. A VLOM pump is almost mythical or a very rare species at least
