A lick of paint - job completed

Here is Barns Ness Lighthouse looking rather resplendent after its recent paint job. The job took a couple of months to complete – 5 weeks erecting the scaffolding, a couple of weeks restoring the surface and painting and another couple of weeks taking down the scaffolding. Thank heavens normal DIY at a domestic level doesn’t involve this level of preparation and support!
