Wienermobile

As we pulled our camper through Newport, Oregon on our way to Beverly Beach State Park a traffic light brought us to a stop.

Lo and behold, there beside us in the parking lot of a mall was a car I’ve known about since my early youth.

It is our first ever encounter with a real Wienermobile, one of only eight still in existence.

Gosh, I was tempted, despite our trailer in tow, to make a turn to get a closer inspection.

Traffic and the strong urge to get on with our camping adventure kept me on the not-so-straight and narrow Highway 101.

I will savor this blip for a very long time however.
