Picnic at the Splash Pools

After a bit of research about beaches and weather we decided to stay in Hertfordshire today. I still fancy Hunstanton and Southend on Sea at some point, even if the weather isn't so good.

So we went to Letchworth on the train, much to William's delight. It wasn't too busy to begin with and the kids had fun in and out of the water and then on the park too. They stopped for lunch and then did some more splashing before I decide it was time to head home.

Back at home I got the paddling pool out and they had more water fun until bath and tea time. I hope the weather forecast was correct and the coast wasn't as nice as here or else I have missed a trick.
