quines for independence

I nipped over to inverurie to see nicola sturgeon speak at a referendum q&a event tonight. it was absolutely hoaching with standing room only left when I arrived. it was a good event - most of it was the question and answer session, with her answering questions from yes folk, no folk and those yet to decide which way they're voting in the referendum. it's important to be informed and I spoke to about four undecided ladies on the way out who told me how much they had enjoyed the event and we're leaning towards yes. incidentally, these ladies had all been to better together events too...they were not impressed with them. I also spoke to a student that I had met in march who had been a definite no, but was now undecided leaning to yes...she had hosted a referendum evening for women at the uni that my sister had spoken at. I like hearing stories like that - I've never heard of anyone going from yes to no.

I gave nicola a quines for independence badge afterwards - she was pleased and encouraging about our work in aberdeen. she's a nice lady.
