Dinas Tyddewi

The City of St Davids, the smallest city in Britain.

St Davids Cathedral, the oldest part of which dates back to 1811 is spectacular and makes Chelmsford Cathedral seem very small in comparison. There are many smaller Chapels to discover an a magnificent 16th century oak roof.

Next to the cathedral stands the ruins of the Bishop's Palace describes as "probably the finest domestic building in western Britain. It would have been a very very grand place in its time where many royal pilgrims and other distinguished visitors lodged.
