Concert in Glasgow

Went to hear the R.S.N.O. ( Royal Scottish National Orchestra) tonight in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
As well as the Peer Gynt suite and Tchaikovsky's 5th. symphony, we heard the U.K. premiere of a piece called "Deus ex Machina" - a piano concerto by Michael Daugherty.

It is based on train journeys and the sounds that they make. It was brilliant!
The pianist was a very talented young American called Terrence Wilson.
