Hummer

I was in the milkweed patch, looking for butterflies, when BRRRRRRRRR! This little chap comes along. I was just able to get a shot of him through the leaves before he disappeared into the wide blue yonder (as they do).

Milkweed provides food and habitat for such a diverse array of creatures - not just the monarch butterfly - that I'm thinking of doing a little project on it.
