Unique to Western Australia -- Kangaroo Paws

This is one of a number of "Kangaroo Paw" varieties. Their flowers are unique in that they are soft and velvety and feel like little kangaroo paws!

Nice to see some colourful flowers in winter time.

This species is in our water wise garden at school.
