Porty People and Places

Here comes the Ruby Princess : 113000 Tonnes. 19 Decks and 3080 passengers - not forgetting the 1200 crew! Heaven knows how Queensferry copes with this invasion for that is where she was bound at 0530 this morning! I took this view from one of our upstairs windows. (The brick chimney stack was the Porty Swimming Baths heat source in the coal fired age.)

A little later I headed to the beach for my first, very gentle jog along the sands. It is the best medicine I know running on the surf line, a flat calm sea, wheeling gulls and distant views on which to focus thoughts on how good it is to still be able to do this.

Great to bump into 24heuer and Barney as I warmed up by walking down the road. I think this Bikinis for Lunch blip is a classic. ( I introduced 24heuer to Blipfoto one early morning on the beach 290 blips ago! )
