Redcurrants

I love how redcurrants grow in long strings of fruit. These were bought for me by a friend and I think I will add some to a fruit salad to go with my dinner tonight. What I didn't know about them is that they are a member of the gooseberry family - perhaps that explains why they have a tendency to be tart to the taste.
