The Flax bush!!!

Must have been the "right brain" workshop in the weekend, but this morning had a quick play down by the lake with a flax bush. They seem to respond well to movement style shots...and I tried quite a few, most of which didn't cut the mustard!

It has been a busy day, spent the afternoon in town at the NZIPP (NZ's pro photographers) print judging prior to their annual conference. There are 3 days of print judging and anyone can sit in and listen to the panel of 5 rating and commenting on the prints. Found it really interesting, a good chance to make my own judgement and then see if I was anywhere near the panel. They also have the judging live on the internet, quite interesting.
