I bought a few colourful bracelets and a ring at this little stall. The rainbow band craze which has hit the country this year has encouraged the grandchildren to set up their own mini company. They are learning the ways of marketing and selling through getting a bank loan from the Bank of Mum and Dad to buy the basic materials and then they are making various items with fixed prices or slightly more if made to order. They are keeping careful records of their income and expenditure and noting which colours are most popular. A good learning experience for the 7 year old twins and the 9 year old boss. These were made using the two pencils at the top of the picture but they can make more complicated ones using the Rainbow Loom. So far I think the three of them have paid back their loan and are now well on the way to making a good profit. However I'm sure they will never make even a fraction of the millions made by the inventor.
