A Tin Crane Sees it All

I wrote a great big long entry about seeing the National Theatre of Scotland's Tin Forest at the South Rotunda in Glasgow, but it was totally wiped when I tied to publish it.
Too tired to recreate it, so here we have a view of The Finnieston Crane, which has become a much photographed part of the Glasgow landscape since the Commonwealth Games began a week ago. In the foreground is signage for The Tin Forest, a tale of regeneration and redemption.
The Tin Forest was really good, if a bit short. It's a mix of puppetry, fable, music, acrobatic aerial dance and art installation. My son said as we emerged blinking into the main Rotunda area : 'But I want to see more!'
I knew what he meant.
It's on until Sunday from 2-6pm with loads of bookable slots between these hours. Well worth a visit.
