Udon Soup
Today I flew off to San Francisco once again - my last trip before vacation! We were packed - every seat taken - filled with lots of British families and other individuals off to California for their summer holidays! We usually carry more business people than holidaymakers, so the passenger mix was unusual. Thankfully all our passengers were very pleasant, which was greatly appreciated especially since we were full and we had 3 less crew than we should have! Our initial beverage and meal service took 4 and a half hours - at least 2 hours longer than normal. They were very patient!
When we arrived in San Francisco, it was cold and windy. Another crew-member and I went for Japanese food. This warming and delicious soup - Japanese BBQ Pork Udon - was perfect!
