German Johnson Tomato

On July 23rd, I posted a scene from a farm market and wrote briefly about German Johnson tomatoes. I went back to the market and bought 3 tomatoes - 2 regular and 1 German Johnson. I suspect few people would choose the German Johnson tomato over the other two without knowing anything about German Johnson. As the lady in the market told me, "They are ugly compared to the other tomatoes." They also cost about 15% more than regular tomatoes. Still life photos or paintings have never been my favorite to see or do (as you can probably tell), but I had to do this one to show a German Johnson whose story goes to
