Tiny volcanoes

We picked up this scallop shell from a basket outside a fishmonger in Mallaig.

Well, the sign did say Help Yourself and we didn't fancy any of the other souvenirs the town had to offer. Because we don't need a novelty ashtray, it's gravitated to the plant pot outside the kitchen door.

I really liked the way it looked in this morning's sunlight.
