My Butterfly Dress

For a few days I have been working on sewing a linen dress, I finished it yesterday and I am well pleased with it. While I was wearing it in the garden this evening, this Monarch butterfly was fluttering around the garden, posing for me for ages, and a couple of times it landed on my shoulder. I struggled to hold my camera out at arm's length, especially as I had the big lens on, so I am pretty chuffed with this! It clearly liked my dress, so henceforth I shall think of this as my Butterfly Dress.

Amelia and I walked to town to buy her some make up (eek), while Ben was playing at a friends house. It has been hot again, I think I got a bit dehydrated as I was exhausted when I got home. Wuss.
