Yak Hotpot

Up near Tibet the first thing on the menu is yak hotpot and it was particularly good. Served in a copper pot which cooked the meat, veg and noodles.

The meat once cooked is very tender (after you remove the thick slice of fat the locals eat) and the veg are perfectly cooked. The plate they provide gives you noddles and more meat to cook as required and the staff regularly top up the broth to cook the food.
