The Great Tapestry of Scotland
143m long compared to 70m for The Bayeux Tapestry. First exhibited in 2014 Each panel (1 metre x 1 metre) took at least 500 hours to complete. That is a total of more than 50,000 hours (equivalent to sewing 24 hours a day for 6 years!).
It's a record of Scottish history and is well worth seeing, I hadn't planned to visit it, I was photographing the outside if the Scottish Parliament Building in Edinburgh and got sort of sucked inside through some very impressive security!
