Hexagonal round

What a beautiful day today! At least in Co Cork!
I took a spin through part of the parish and stopped for a stroll in Kinneigh. It's round tower is reputed to be 1,000 years old this year.
It is very well preserved after all these years.
Curiously, though, it has a hexagonal base! So its name ought be amended but I'm not sure how!
