Between two homes

I popped in home for mail on my way home to my other home where I live while my house is repaired (if you follow my drift ;-)

The Heathcote River lies between us along with a few minutes on my bike.

I enjoyed a few minutes admiring the bare willow branches etched in the strong late afternoon nor'west light.

Good news, my roof was looked at thoroughly today. I'll know more tomorrow. This should have happened in week 1, instead week 8 is coming to an end.
