Robin's Nest held together with duct tape

I had been watching a junco in her nest for several days when I saw a robin fly into my apple tree. I looked closely at her nest I was not surprised to see duct tape used in this unique way; i use duct tape for everything!

I watched for a couple weeks and saw the little babies peeking over the edge of the nest for several days before they finally left. One of the babies flew to a nearby butterfly bush and remained there for two days. Mom came and beck fed her on the second night. The next morning he was gone; I sincerely hope he flew off and he avoided the many cats in our neighborhood.
