Some serious shovelling
We got the sunny weather we wanted! It was -14°C around noon and Z did some serious shovelling to clear the path to and around the wee allotment cottage.
The birds (mostly Great Tits, Blue Tits and Nuthatches) were very happy to see us filling up the bird feeders for them. We still have redwings around - very strange. They must have been fooled to stay the winter by the very mild November and early December.
As you can see we now have "a bit" more snow than we had around Christmas.
