Signs were clearly too late!

Looked after Alice in the morning but didn't have to do too much as she had a 2 hour nap. Charlie went with Eve and Andrew to Tumut which was nice for me!
An hour after lunch I took Andrews ute to drive to the snowy mountains. Went to pick up snow chains for the wheels but the man told me it was legal for this car to not have them as it is a 4WD so didn't bother getting them. (Good for money too!) It was just under three hours to get to Adaminaby. Saw the 'big fish' so knew I had arrived. In Oz they have big things all over like the big pineapple, lobster or cow. Kind of strange but quite funny!
So, so weird seeing kangaroos in the snow on the drive there. Had to be careful of wombats, emus and horses too! Didn't realise how bloody big wombats are!!
Jen and Mike are in good form, so good to catch up with them. Met their flat mates, Mitch (Oz guy), Lars (Danish guy) and Kasper (Croatian guy but everyone jokes he's from Russia and I call him Jasper!)
All headed to the local Pub. There is nothing in Adaminaby apart from the big fish, pub and a takeaway joint.
Wasn't expecting the pub to be so busy. It was basically all guys in the pub, don't think many girls are doing the ski season. Met a Scottish guy called Robbie and a really nice Australian called Scotty. Met lots of others but bad with names.
Drank a little too much tonight and mixed the drinks. Some people came back to the house afterwards. It was a very funny night. A guy called Shaun decided to stay over and wanted to sleep on the sofa bed with me. He basically stole the rug and took up the whole bed so annoying. So I put some warm clothes on a slept on the other sofa. Sooooo cold though, should have just taken the rug.
