Busy, busy.

Couldn't help noticing all the bumble bees when I was heading home this evening, loads a loads of them in this buddleia. It was cloudy, windy and a bit chilly too, not what I'd imagined were ideal conditions for hungry bees but that just shows you what I know! This particular guy was well in there, must have found a particularly good nectar fountain.

Just back from visiting my mum. She was enjoying watching the athletics on the telly and regaled us with childhood tales of running about in the streets of Lauriston and in the Meadows. Seems she didn't like hurdles and hated the starter's gun too. Just like me!!
