Sunset at Bawdsey Quay

It was such a lovely evening I decided to drive down to Bawdsey Quay, a small hamlet on the banks of the River Deben. A small foot ferry runs from Bawdsey Quay to Old Felixstowe that takes about five minutes, by road it's about 25 miles and because of the country roads would probably take about 40 minutes! There are under ten houses here and all are either second or third homes or holiday lets, in the summer locals cannot get near the water, in the winter you can have the place to yourself.
Unfortunately it was low tide, but I did like how the setting sun reflects off the water and mud making it look very shimmery.
