LOST.
This homing pigeon has found a home.
Ours not his!
He/she has been here for three days now, and doesn't seem to want to leave.
I think it is being too well fed.
Always there on the corner of next door's roof, in a morning. Waiting for me to put the bird food out.
Down he flies, and eats none stop until it is all gone!
The other birds, including the wood pigeons, and collard doves, don't get a look in.
In fact it shoos them off.
A stand up fight with the wood pigeon, and this one always wins.
It has a tags on both legs.
So Plan A.
I will have to stop feeding the birds, and hope he decides to fly off home.
Or plan B:
Will have to catch it, and read the number on the tags, ring up the pigeon association, and keep it in a box until someone comes to collect it.
I think I will try plan A first!
