One Of Those Looonnngg Days

It felt like an eternity, call me old fashioned but if you are successful with a tender to supply a service then you supply the service - simples.
Cancelling bus services during the evening commute does not endear you to the travelling public so having already completed a twelve hour shift I volunteered to drive one of the services people depend on to get home. An extra 2.5 hours for the princely sum of £25.
The photo shows bits of the bus hanging off as I worked.
But I did feel a tadge satisfied that at least some people got home on time.
