...on Fox Sport 3. Little son Dan played in his first live TV game . In the last 32 of the Australian FFA Cup, the equivalent of our FA Cup. Brisbane Strikers were away in NSW. He's the first yellow shirt from the right on the screen shot.

An eventful game, they went 1 down in the second half to equalise a few minutes later. Then the opposition had a man sent off and Strikers missed the resulting penalty with 3 minutes left. Into extra time; 2-1 up before their keeper got sent off trying to recover from going up the field looking for the late equaliser. Full time whistle and through to the quarter finals and hopefully will be drawn against one of the top teams.

Dan was also booked in extra time ( he rarely goes a game without a booking now he's moved into midfield. He got a headline the other week as the imposing Englishman!). He never was here but the refs are far more against tough tackles out there.

Come on you Strikers, I have my supporters T shirt from when I was out there :)
