Birthday Party

It has finally arrived, the day of Adam and Orla's birthday party. They were both very excited. We managed to get the hall looking lovely in time for the 40-plus guests turning up. It was total bedlam. The magician/entertainer was very good, well worth his fee for keeping them all engaged for an hour! Our families were a great help with serving the food, adjudicating the games, recording the event for posterity and of course tidying up! Once it was over I couldn't believe it, it seemed like some sort of sugar-induced hallucination. Orla was given so many presents. She will have a sore hand writing all those thank you letters.
