The Games

The HG and I, along with C and K, were at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow today to watch the Badminton heats. I haven't played for years, but really enjoyed it and got back into the swing of the scoring very easily
The Emirates Arena is great, almost brand new, and the whole event was very well organised indeed. We arrived at 10am and left at 2.30 and I felt I had played some of the games, it was quite intense.

My shot is of the Men's Doubles played by the Seychelles against the Falkland Islands, the winners were the Seychelles but it was a good game.

The HG and I had no trouble with the travel to and from the Arena, and the crowds although huge are very well behaved and fun. And the weather
co-operated again.....
