Welcome Home!

What a day! Our flight was delayed by an hour out of AMS but the pilot was rather amusing. Over the speaker he says in a very typical stereotype pilot British accent:

‘Welcome on board this KLM flight back to Humberside. Apologies for the delay, I wish I could tell you a reason for the delay but I don’t have one. I have no idea why we are delayed as there is no reason or rhyme. Sit back and enjoy the flight, I will be pressing the go fast button to get you back to Humberside where there are no delays!’
We had no luggage to collect as we took hand luggage so were in the car quite quickly. It took us three hours to get home but thankfully I was able to pick Tess and Mills up en route even though the cattery was about to close for the afternoon. I adore our new cattery. So helpful and very very caring to the cats. Tess and Mills never want to leave I am sure!

Mills loves a good rough and tumble as you can see here! She loves having her belly rubbed so that she can then pretend to be ‘killing’ her prey! Our last Manx we had (Robbie) loved the exact same game. Chris’s hand doesn’t like it too much though!
Chris and I have both spent the afternoon catching up with emails ready for a full day tomorrow. Comments on journals may still be a bit random. I have a hectic day tomorrow and then tomorrow night we are out to dinner with the bestie and her hubby for dinner.
