We're going on a Nessie Hunt

Today was the last day of our holidays. However, we took a detour in the wrong direction so that we could take Ethan to Loch Ness to see if he could find the Loch Ness Monster!

First stop was to go on a boat trip on Loch Ness. I think Ethan was rather disappointed Nessie didn't poke her head out of the water to say hello! He did persuade us to buy him a toy Nessie though.

Then to Urquhart Castle for a wander round the ruins.

It was a long drive home from there and it was quite late when we arrived at the Foreveryoungs, where we were dropping Ethan off for his weekly sleepover. I think he has had a great time the past few days though, so it's well worth another late night for him.
