Cawthorne Camp Heather

In the current temperatures my preferred energy food - bananas quickly go brown. So I put them to good use by tying a new recipe for banana cake. I have to say the result is rather tasty - well it is important to do a quality test isn't it?

Took Jet back to Cawthorne Camps for a gentle walk around the Roman Camp. The heather is really blossoming at the moment in more sheltered parts. I liked the mix of heather and grass on one of the outlying embankments.

Fortunately the build up of clouds has not delivered any rain as yet?
