Chip

He arrived today for his holiday. My daughter and family travel to Normandy in the morning to stay at the old French Farm house (1777) that we half owned for many years. We sold out to the other half owner when we retired and put some roots down in Spain instead. Emma has been back many times and still loves the incredible peace to be found in the rather remote little hamlet where the house is situated.
The girls are pleased to return as well. They love the huge sandy beaches and this trip they are interested in shopping in the supermarkets a) to try out some french and b) they are both into food and cooking (it's in the genes!)
You may well see some more of Chip in the next week or so.
