"Annihilating all that's made..."

...to a green thought in a green shade" Andrew Marvell - The Garden. This is Camlet Moat, in Trent Park, Enfield, on a baking hot day, when all you want to do is lie undisturbed in the shade somewhere. The pond weed is certainly undisturbed.
(No-one seems quite sure what this moat enclosed. There was a building of some sort in the 14th century, but not much else is known.)
