Slow Tuesday

Another bad weather day, and a bike race to compound things.

Bike race means they close the road to traffic, so that's not good. I was going to catch the race so that I could practise pressing the shutter button a couple of thousand times, but they stopped that lower down the mountain as the condition up higher were so horrid.

So, 4 hours in and 500 shots and I had had enough. Cloud wasn't clearing much, very little traffic....blah blah.

Hotel reckon tomorrow is the last day of bad weather and then we're sailing for the rest of the summer.

All the traders at the top of the mountain looked pretty miserable today, and you could see a couple of them were discussing whether to open or not. Most did though, and are probably regretting it now.

When I finished at lunch - there were a whopping 7 motorbikes having lunch at the top.
