Grand Union Canal - Uxbridge

Not a good day today...
1. Unplanned visit to Docs this morning, I'll spare you the explanation of why.
2. Hassle getting the prescription,
3. Feeling miserable and poorly.
4. Sad I can not go to support my friend Shirley at her Dad's funeral :(
5. Planned visit to Chemo Unit for my PICC line care and blood tests
6. Dreading the new Chemo drug regime as it feels like back to square one with the unknown side effects

BUT on the up side

1. The Nurse who did my line care , Patrick, made me laugh and was a reassuring as he could be about new regime.
2. Day ended with a meet up with Matt's friend John who is down from Edinburgh and working in Uxbridge, good to seem him and it certainly helped the miseries disappear - Cheers John, hope to see you again in October x

Onward and upward!

Well that's all about Me as usual but in Uxbridge they had the torrential rain and were bailing out shops and homes, the A40 was flooded causing traffic chaos in the rush hour.

The Swan Family seemed very happy with folk walking and cycling by, nice to see such a large family. I walked this Canal some years ago from Birmingham to London...........seems a lifetime ago now!
