Exit stage left

The deed is done

No don't worry Lesle and SooB, no secret wedding but notice has now been served. This was my, sadly solo, celebratory coffee as K had done his interview bit first so he could sprint of to work ASAP. Who knew that I should have prepped him on my middle name beforehand?!

The plan was to sit in the café while my parents walked up to meet me and blip this while I waited. Luckily, they asked about keys before they left. So totally solo brunch, walk home, back up to the Discovery Centre for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition (wow), bit of Commonwealths, bit of shopping, still not successful repeat trips to get extra keys cut, few work phone calls chasing expenses that are 6 months old, trip to the sorting office to collect a parcel that we'd just missed and then out for the early bird special at the restaurant we're using for the reception.

Home for a bit more Commonwealths and surprisingly complex planning for the cricket tomorrow. Somehow the car service convoy for Wednesday has been moved to Tuesday. I'm no longer needed but a trailer is and then some complex trip to return trailers, get to a park and ride etc etc. Not sure why I'm the one who will automatically know all the possible logistics, where the binoculars were left, where the iPod is... There not mine, I don't use them. I just about managed not to say "Where did you leave them?" At the same time my Dad was trying to make sandwiches in our kitchen. That should be simple, right? It's difficult when it's not your kitchen, I know but a question every 30 seconds?

Writing all that down I can understand why I feel a tad frazzled? Everyone else went to bed an hour ago. I'm wiped but I just needed some quiet time to myself. Love them all but this house is just too small for four people and there's only so much wedding talk I can take.
