Sprucing her up

When I spotted this guy giving his boat a coat of paint, I just knew I was going to ask him if I could take his photo. All those different blues - and no rust that I could see, but a lovely knot! He was very approachable and we had a nice chat about how he thinks his daughter would be a great photographer because she has a good eye for composition.
Molly had a nice smile too. Have to love those ears!
Too hot for me today. Thank goodness I can escape to the porch or the forest when I need to cool down!
