Edge Of The Field

The darkening skies made me rush out as the poppies I took on two previous days I ended up not using. The navy blue clouds were gathering quickly as I struggled to climb up the surprisingly high shear bank in my flip-flops ;-)


I used this colour filter on my camera to accentuate the poppy, not that any accentuating is really needed in this commemorative year


Just been watching the documentary about the children surviving the war in Syria. Very distressing, they are growing up so quickly and missing out on what we consider a normal childhood. Please let it come to an end. Quite an appropriate picture really.
