Bald Eagle.....

Sighting - the second one as Moments and I headed up the North River Road this morning! We were so excited at spotting the first one, sitting in a Pine tree just off the road.....we jumped out and took a few blips....only to find another one about 5 minutes up the road....now we were totally buzzed. What with the combination of bitterly cold, windy weather and my excitement at being so close to 2 stunning bald eagles - i closed the car door on my thumb......i spent the next 1/2 hour willing myself to just keep breathing, telling myself it's only pain, it will end...soon....but man did it hurt like hell!!!

It's been a great day, with lots of laughs, and many amazing blips taken during extremely blustery weather....still another 2 days of our time together - yeah!
