Here comes Jude on his yellow ice cream vending velocipede!

He peddles a brilliant brand of famous locally produced Italian ice cream and cool drinks. I admire his entrepreneurial spirit and his recognition of a gap in the summer trade on Porty Prom. His first season is going well and he is very stoic in the face of the more established four wheeled fume generating vans who are left fuming at his free wheeling spirit. He is fully compliant with all local bye laws and hygiene regs. Too bad my current health regime forbids tasting his wares - they are extremely tempting. Jude was less impressed with my suggestion of an off season pitch on Calton Hill. I clearly have no idea of how difficult pedalling up that hill on this bike would be!

In the morning we met up with Lady Findhorn and HL for coffee and a post Qatari catch up on the sunny promenade. It was super to see them both in such fine form and creating much envy from us having cycled to and fro through all the pre Festival City road traffic.
