Crummock with dogs

When we got to the NT car park early this morning there were only two other cars parked, we had a lovely cool walk through the woods and up onto Scale Hill Fell. The borrowed and adopted dogs appreciated that we had gone out when it was cooler and had a good run around with their sticks.
By the time we got back to the van the sun was up and it was very warm, the car park was crowded and cars were waiting for spaces.
We finished our morning off with freshly baked scones and coffee at the Kirkstile Inn, Loweswater.
